WHY leads to HOW
The "STAR SYSTEM" of Instruction and the book, "The GOLFING MACHINE"
are the pathway to understanding what occurs during IMPACT.
The Ball can only obey the fundamental laws of Physics and Geometry.
By analyzing the flight of your ball and understanding WHY the ball did what it did,
you will soon become your own COACH and learn to PRACTICE with PURPOSE.
There are some well established basics in Grip, Stance, Alignment and Power.
When you know how to grip the club properly, take a balanced stance, align yourself to the target accurately, and allow force to build and release through leverage, conservation of angular momentum, and Centrifugal Force, it becomes MUCH EASIER to execute an accurate and powerful golf swing.
BASIC PRINCIPLES OF G.O.L.F.
(Geometrically Oriented Linear Force)
Your path to KNOWING what must occur in the golf swing begins with learning the laws of nature,
(Physics and Geometry) as well as how the Human Skeleton, tendons and Muscles work and move. (Kinesiology) Knowing WHY will help you to develop the skills that result in a Balanced, Powerful and Accurate Golf Stroke and Significantly Better Scores.
YOUR GRIP establishes and controls the club face Direction.
YOUR STANCE fosters proper Balance, Swing plane and Launch angle.
YOUR ALIGNMENT controls the Direction Linear Force is applied to the ball.
YOUR LEVERAGE controls the Energy or Force applied during Impact.

The MENTAL side of Golf
The Human Brain is not a Computer that allows us to simply input unlimited instructions
and then spit out accurate results as we demand.
There are actually THREE BRAINS in your head, each one working independently,
as well as, cooperatively with the others.
The CEREBRAL CORTEX provides thought, awareness, reason and planning skills and through
the Motor Cortex, executes voluntary Neuro-muscular actions producing a Golf Swing.
The LIMBIC BRAIN controls motivation and the sense of attachment we get
to whatever results we hoped for, such as a good Golf Shot.
· The REPTILE BRAIN provides basic life support for the body and some very basic emotional drives such as; the shame, disappointment and/or anger we feel when we DUFF ONE!
UNDERSTANDING how and why these complex interactions occur within your brain will give you the ability to influence yourself in ways that allow you to perform better in all aspects of your life.
